The strength of PA’s school funding system is it allows children of poverty to gain a basic education.
The weakness of PA’s school funding system is it allows wealthy school districts to overfund schools @ the expense of poorer school districts.
6. What is your vision of the public education opportunity that the General Assembly should ensure be available to every child in Pennsylvania and what will you do to accomplish that goal?

Parents should have a choice to send their children to the best public or private schools in their area. Why? Because every PA school student, public or private, should have an equal opportunity to obtain the best 12 grade education available.
7. Is there anything else that you will do to strengthen Pennsylvania's public education system?

Every PA school student public and private should pass a test of basic arithmetic, reading and writing skills before being given a high school diploma.
