5. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Pennsylvania's system of funding public education? What should the Pennsylvania Legislature do, if anything, to improve the system of funding public education?
Comments (75 words or less)

Weaknesses: There is no system of fair moneytary dsitribution. Schools with a wealthy population have a wealhier school system. Because the propertytax are higher in wealthier districts it leads to those district having nicer equipment and facilities than do poorer areas. It needs to be a level playing field so that all students have equal services available to them. They Pennsylvania Legislature should collect the property taxes statewide and then distribute the funds per student to the school districts.

6. What is your vision of the public education opportunity that the General Assembly should ensure be available to every child in Pennsylvania and what will you do to accomplish that goal?
Comments (75 words or less)

Every child should have the right to a public education but students must also be held accountable for their fair share of responsibility in school. No Child Left Behind must not be reinstated. It is devastating our school systems. There must be a shared accountability on the teachers, the parents, the student, and the government.

7. Is there anything else that you will do to strengthen Pennsylvania's public education system?
Comments (75 words or less)

I will have teachers and not legilators write the educational cirriculums for Pennsylvania's school districts. I will not have uninformed politicians making educational decisions, I will have educators making smart decisions.
