4. Do you agree that the Pennsylvania Legislature should continue to significantly increase state funding to increase access for young children in Pennsylvania to high-quality pre-K programs?
__X___ YES _____ NO _____ DON'T KNOW

5. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Pennsylvania's system of funding public education? What should the Pennsylvania Legislature do, if anything, to improve the system of funding public education?
Comments (75 words or less)
Having not been directly involved as an employee or school board member, I would rely on the opinions of those who are. Rural school districts face different challenges than urban districts and wealthier school districts do not have the same issues as lower income districts. I believe that school districts have individual needs and cannot all be treated as though they were identical. By addressing their individual needs we will make the educational system stronger.
6. What is your vision of the public education opportunity that the General Assembly should ensure be available to every child in Pennsylvania and what will you do to accomplish that goal?
Comments (75 words or less)
My vision is that the legislature can impact the funding of our schools and that this reflects on our commitment to our children, families and the viability of an educated workforce. There is so much more that should be done in this regard.
7. Is there anything else that you will do to strengthen Pennsylvania's public education system?
Comments (75 words or less)
I want to be a public voice for the impact that a high quality education can play in strengthening our economy and our communities.
