Freeze decision will shape Selinsgrove school budget

Selinsgrove Area School teachers appear to be resisting a pay freeze as administrators continue to grapple with plans to close a $2.3 million deficit. A public meeting that had been scheduled for Thursday to discuss program cuts and up to 30 layoffs has been postponed as school officials wait for the teachers to decide whether they will agree to join administrators in accepting a pay freeze in 2011-12.
