Mock bake sale decries education budget cuts

On Monday, April 25, parents from around the state posed one to Gov. Tom Corbett: If they were selling cookies at a fundraising bake sale, priced at three for $1, then how many would they have to sell to make up for the $1 billion in funding cuts to public education in the administration’s 2011 budget plan?

The answer is 3 billion cookies.
